Antoni Gaudi a famous Catalan architect has designed such mindblowing buildings and structures like the beautiful Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Casa Battlo, etc. Apart from historic places, Barcelona has many other famous places like Port Aventura, Tibidabo Amusement Park, Barceloneta beach and Barcelona Aquarium. When you are not going to any place, you can just simply wander on the streets of the city and enjoy delicious food and shopping. 1. Sagrada Familia
Sagrada Familia, probably the most famous structure in Barcelona and most visited one. Sagrada is an incomplete church and is expected to get completed by the end of 2026. Exactly 100 years after the death of its creator Antoni Gaudi. After completion, the Sagrada Familia Is going to be the tallest church in the world. Construction of Sagrada begin in 1882 and the design of the church is inspired by gods and nature.
2. Park Guell
Another famous attraction after Sagrada Familia is the amazing Park Guell. The Park is spread in acres of space, you will see unique sculptures and statues in the park. The park also contains various gardens and walkways which are truly beautiful Gaudi used to live in the Park premises but after his death, the house is converted into a museum and can be accessed by the general public. Most of the area of Park is free but the center area can be visited only by tourists who have Paid for it.
3. Casa Batllo
Casa Batllo is one more addition to Gaudi's work, located near Las Ramblas. You can easily figure out this stylish building in the middle of many others. It was built-in 1877. You should definitely visit this building and see the interiors. But don 't forget to book tickets in advance as it gets really busy during the summer season.
4. Camp Nou
Another great thing which Barcelona has is The Iconic Camp Nou. The stadium is the largest football ground in Europe and third largest in the whole world. The stadium can host up to 99354 spectators. Try to buy tickets to a match as you can see the Worlds best player Lionel Messi playing live in front of you. The atmosphere is really amazing and you're gonna love it. You can get the complete stadium tour when is no match being held in the stadium. Otherwise, you'll just be able to see the match live. You just can't miss visiting the home ground of FC Barcelona.
5. Barceloneta Beach
Barceloneta is the most popular among all the beaches in Barcelona. You can enjoy the watersports taking place at the beach. The food offered on beach shack is really nice, you just can't miss it. The other thing to enjoy on the beach is Live performances of bands during the evening. You can092 spend hours just simply sitting on the seashore, its amazing.
6. Port Aventura
Port from your historic sites, there are some fun sites too. Port Aventura is an amusement park and has many amazing rides. When you are traveling with your kids, you just can't keep on going to historical places. Your kids will get bored, they need someplace to chill and the amusement park is the best place for them to be.
